Training Empowers Jadura CBO Members on Pest Repellent and Liquid Fertilizer Production – Hambantota
A training program on the production of pest repellent and liquid fertilizer was successfully conducted for members of the Jadura Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Hambantota on 25 June 2025.
Organized under the Food Security Project, the session aimed to strengthen local agricultural practices and promote sustainable farming methods. Participants from the A.R.P.A. Jadura group actively engaged in the hands-on training, gaining valuable skills in preparing eco-friendly pest repellents and liquid fertilizers to enhance crop yields while reducing environmental impact.
On 18th June 2025, a practical training session on Pest Repellent and Liquid Fertilizer Production was conducted at the Daha Amuna Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Hambantota. The program was organized under the Food Security Project implemented by Caritas SED Galle.

A Capacity Building Training Program for Farmers was successfully conducted on 24th June 2025 in Udukawa South, Welipitiya, Matara. The training was organized for members of the Siriliya Community-Based Organization (CBO) with the objective of enhancing agricultural knowledge and improving farming practices at the community level.
A training program on Sustainable Agricultural Practices was successfully held on 22nd June 2025 in the Welipitiya Division of the Matara District. The session focused on equipping youth and children with knowledge and skills to promote environmentally friendly and sustainable farming methods.
