Caritas Rest is a fundraising initiative dedicated to supporting community service efforts for vulnerable individuals in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The funds raised through this project are directly allocated to those in need within the region. Managed by Caritas SED Galle under the Catholic Diocese of Galle, this property operates as part of a charitable organization registered with the Commission of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka.

Established under Act No. 17 of 1983 of the Sri Lankan Parliament, Caritas SED Galle is committed to justice, peace, and human development, guided by Gospel values and universal solidarity, regardless of religion or ethnicity. As a member of Caritas Sri Lanka-SEDEC and the Caritas Internationalis network, Caritas SED Galle strives to foster integral human development and create a better world through its social and economic development initiatives.
