Caritas SED Galle has long been renowned for its unwavering commitment to standing in solidarity with the poorest of the poor.  The information-gathering and exposure-immersion programs we offer have profoundly touched our dedicated workforce and significantly

influenced the hearts and minds of people in the Southern Province for many years.

For us at Caritas SED Galle, compassion means recognizing the presence of Jesus in the lives of children who lack access to proper education, in farmers and fisher-folk, in the voiceless and vulnerable tea plantation workers, in migrant workers, and many others. Within

the Diocese of Galle, our mission is driven by the essential components of justice, peace, human rights, and community development. These principles compel us to take focused action at various levels to foster a more just and equitable society.

We pledge to continue taking an even greater interest and leadership role in this vital area of Christian witness.
