As part of the ongoing Food Security Project, an On-Farm Trials Program was successfully conducted on October 10, 2025, at Nadeeshani Home Garden in Daha Amuna, Hambantota. The program aimed to support local farmers in improving agricultural productivity and promoting sustainable farming techniques.

The session was led by Mr. Gunawardana, Agronomist, who provided practical training and technical guidance to participating farmers. The program emphasized hands-on learning through on-farm demonstrations, helping farmers to test and adopt innovative methods suitable for local soil and climate conditions.

This initiative reflects a continued commitment to empowering farming communities in Daha Amuna by enhancing their knowledge, resilience, and capacity to ensure long-term food security.
