A Preschool Feeding Program was successfully implemented on October 15, 2025, at Jadura Malsha Preschool in Jadura, Hambantota, through the collaboration of Jadura Udara Community-Based Organization (CBO) members. The program was organized under the initiative to promote nutrition among preschool children while supporting local smallholder farmers.

The feeding program utilized fresh, locally produced food items sourced directly from smallholder farmers, ensuring both nutritional benefits for children and income generation for farming families.

The activity was coordinated by Mr. Yasalal Priyantha, Field Officer, with the dedicated support of Mr. A. J. Chandrasena, Volunteer, and the members of the Jadura Udara CBO.

This initiative stands as a meaningful step toward strengthening community ties, promoting food security, and improving child nutrition through the empowerment of local farmers.
