The V.K.C. Home Garden in Mada Ara was visited by the project team on July 31, 2025, as part of ongoing monitoring and support activities under the Food Security Project.

The visit aimed to assess the progress of the home garden initiative, observe cultivation practices, and provide technical guidance to ensure maximum productivity. The home garden, developed with the support of the project, demonstrates how households can successfully grow a variety of vegetables and fruits to enhance nutrition and generate supplementary income.

During the visit, the project team discussed best practices in organic farming, water management, and pest control, while encouraging the household to continue expanding and maintaining their garden. The V.K.C. Home Garden serves as an inspiring example for other community members to adopt sustainable agricultural practices.
