A dedicated session on “Trauma and Healing” was conducted for the Women’s Group of Deniyaya Hanford on 20th June 2025 at Hanford Saubhagya Tamil Maha Vidyalaya. The event was organized under the Peace Project jointly implemented by Caritas SED Galle and CODESEP.

A total of 40 women participated in the session, which was specifically designed to address the unique challenges faced by women in coping with trauma. The program aimed to provide emotional support, promote psychological healing, and empower women with practical strategies for resilience and recovery.

This impactful session marked another valuable step in supporting the mental well-being of women in the region.
