Training on Value-Added Food Production for Siriliya CBO Members in Udukawa South, Welipitiya, Matara

A Training on Value-Added Food Production was conducted for the members of the Siriliya Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Udukawa South, Welipitiya, Matara. The programme aimed to enhance participants’ skills in preparing and marketing value-added food products, supporting income generation and promoting local entrepreneurship.

The training was facilitated by:

  • Mr. Prasanga – Vidatha Niladari

  • Mrs. Nanayakkara – Agriculture Research & Production Assistant

  • Miss Nayanathara – Field Officer

  • Miss Ramani – Volunteer

Through practical demonstrations and interactive sessions, participants learned techniques to increase the quality and marketability of local food products, contributing to community development and sustainable livelihoods.
