SHG Formation, Revitalization, and Strengthening Programme Held at Thunhiripana CBO, Galle District

A programme on Self-Help Group (SHG) Formation, Revitalization, and Strengthening was conducted at the Thunhiripana Community-Based Organization (CBO) in the Galle District on 12th August 2025 under the Food Security initiative of Caritas SED Galle.

The programme focused on empowering community members through SHG structures, enhancing group management, and promoting collective action for sustainable livelihoods and food security.

The initiative was facilitated by Caritas SED Galle with the active involvement of local officials, aiming to build stronger, more resilient community groups that can work collectively towards improved food security and sustainable development.
