Training Program on Laudato Si’ Inspires Environmental Stewardship in Angunakolapalassa

A Training Program on Laudato Si’ was successfully held on October 18, 2025, in Angunakolapalassa under the Food Security Project. The program focused on promoting Pope Francis’ message of caring for our common home by integrating environmental awareness and sustainable living into community development initiatives.

The session was led by Rev. Fr. Director Michael Rajendram, with the participation of Ms. Amitha (A.R. & P.A.), the Field Officer, and a Volunteer. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions on ecological responsibility, sustainable resource use, and the importance of protecting creation through practical actions in daily life and agriculture.

This program served as a valuable platform to strengthen community commitment toward ecological harmony, echoing the spirit of Laudato Si’ and its call for an integrated approach to faith, environment, and human development.
