A programme on Pest and Disease Management Practices in Home Garden Crops was conducted for the members of the Holuwagoda Sithamu Prarthana Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Galle on 10th September 2025 under the Food Security initiative. The session was facilitated by Mr. Madanayaka (Development Officer), Mr. Anil Soisa (Assistant, Agricultural Research & Production), Mr. Gunawardana (Agronomist), and Mrs. K. P. N. Kumari (Field Officer). The training focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge to effectively manage pests and diseases in home garden crops, thereby improving productivity and food security.
