A training program on nursery management and vermicomposting was successfully conducted in Daha Amuna, Hambantota, on the morning of 16th July 2025. The session was led by Agronomist Mr. Gunawardana, providing participants with practical knowledge on effective nursery techniques and the production of nutrient-rich organic compost using earthworms.

The program was supported by Field Officer Mr. Yasalal Priyantha and volunteer Mr. Chandrasena. This initiative aimed to encourage sustainable farming methods while improving crop productivity and soil health in the local community.
