Suriyawewa, Sri Lanka – June 10, 2025 – Members of the Suriyawewa Beddewewa Rural Environmental Committee participated in a technical training program on coconut cultivation yesterday, conducted as part of the ongoing Environmental Conservation Project (OHOB).

The comprehensive program aimed to equip local farmers with advanced techniques and best practices in coconut cultivation. The training session was led by the Coconut Development Officer for the Suriyawewa Division of the Coconut Development Board, who provided expert guidance and insights.

This initiative, a key component of the OHOB project, underscores its commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural practices and environmental conservation within rural communities.
