As part of the Food Security Project, Caritas SED Galle facilitated a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and the preparation of a Village Development Plan on March 26, 2025. The event was conducted in collaboration with Suhada Kantha Govi Sanvidanaya, bringing together local stakeholders to assess community needs and plan sustainable development initiatives.

The session was attended by the Economic Development Officer and the Agricultural Research and Production Assistant, who provided insights into improving local agricultural practices and economic opportunities. This initiative aims to enhance food security, promote self-sufficiency, and empower the community through strategic development planning.
