On 19 June 2025, a large-scale environmental tree-planting and seedling distribution program was held in the Hambantota District under the Stepping-Stone Environmental Project (SSEP), implemented by Caritas SED Galle with the support of One Heart One Body (OHOB). Training on Land Preparation and Water Management for Coconut and Mango Cultivation Held in Nagarawewa

A one-day training programme on land preparation, soil, and water management for coconut and mango cultivation was conducted today at the Nagarawewa Community Center in Hambantota under the SSEP (Environment) Project.

The session was facilitated by Mr. H.T. Indika, Agriculture Instructor at the Hambantota Agrarian Service Center.

A total of 30 participants (10 females and 18 males) attended the programme.
