Caritas SED Galle Extends Compassionate Support to Low-Income Families in the Diocese of Galle

In yet another remarkable act of compassion, the Caritas SED Galle — the social arm of the Diocese of Galle — has launched a new humanitarian initiative aimed at uplifting low-income Catholic families within the diocese.

As part of this benevolent program, livelihood support was extended to deserving families through the distribution of chicks, cheques for sanitation and drinking water facilities, and other essential livelihood assistance designed to promote sustainable living and dignity.

Caritas SED Galle Launches CHARIS-Funded Initiative to Empower Low-Income Families in Galle Diocese

Caritas SED Galle today launched a special project funded by CHARIS Singapore to enhance the lives of the low income families in the Parishes of the Diocese of Galle under the patronage of his Lordship Most Rev. Raymond Wickramasinghe, the Bishop of the diocese.

A newly designed website www.caritasgalle.lk depicting the humenatarian services rendered by our Center was launched along with handing over scholarships to 60 students.
