A training program on producing pest repellents, liquid fertilizers, and worm compost was conducted in Barawakubuka, Hambantota, on 18th July 2025 under the Food Security Project. The event aimed to equip participants with practical skills for creating eco-friendly agricultural inputs to support sustainable farming.

The program was attended by Rev. Fr. Jesu of Barawakubuka Church, with facilitation by Field Officer Mr. Yasalal Priyantha and volunteer Mr. A. J. Chandrasena. The initiative focused on reducing chemical dependency in agriculture while promoting community-driven organic production methods.
