An Awareness and Fellowship Meeting on the Food Security Programme and other initiatives of Caritas SED Galle was held today, 22nd August 2025, at the Sasanodhaya Buddhist Temple in Hiniduma. The event served as a platform to share information, build collaboration, and strengthen community engagement in ongoing development efforts.

The meeting was graced by the presence of His Lordship Bishop Raymond, Very Rev. Fr. Michael Rajendram, Director of Caritas SED Galle, and the Chief Incumbent of the Temple, Most Ven. Batuwangala Vijitha Thero, along with several other distinguished participants.

The programme highlighted the impact of Caritas SED Galle’s initiatives in promoting food security, sustainable development, and interfaith fellowship, fostering unity and cooperation among community members.
